RoleDirectorBiographyBob Seddon retired from the British Army in April 2011 after spending 27 years in a range of practical EOD, weapons intelligence, ammunition, special projects and related policy appointments. He commanded an EOD squadron in Great Britain and a regular regiment in Northern Ireland. In his final Army appointment, in the rank of colonel, he was the Principal Ammunition Technical Officer and the British Army’s competent authority and inspector for IED disposal, weapons intelligence and explosive safety. Since leaving the Army, he has worked with a variety of UK and international clients. He has a proven track record in all aspects of programme and project management, explosive engineering, Counter-IED, and the recovery and disposal of explosive munitions, with operational experience in a variety of theatres. He is currently working with a number of United Nations entities on explosive threat mitigation and ammunition management.
